Comwell Kongebrogaarden
Kongebrovej 63, Middelfart
About venue
Kongebrogaarden is a very special place with a history as special as few events in its 400 year history can attest.
From 1584 it was a transit point for King Frederick II. Since then, it has also been used by the king's son Christian IV who bears his name. From 1812 Kongebrogaarden was an inn and later a restaurant.
Just days after the First World War began, Danish soldiers were stationed at Kongebrogaarden and took in boat people along the coast—young people from southern Jutland who had escaped German military service.
In 2011, Comwell Hotels took over the Kongebrogaarden and in 2018 it was named "Luxury Hotel of the Year".
At Comwell Kongebrogaarden you will find sophisticated conference facilities. Pampering and quality are our key words and this radiates throughout the hotel. Our location in the middle of Middelfart makes it the ideal venue for meetings or conferences with attendees from all over Denmark.
All of our meeting and conference halls are modern and tastefully furnished, mixing classic and contemporary design. All meeting rooms have an exit to a terrace filled with natural light.
With capacity for up to 85 attendees, our venue is ideal for seminars, board meetings and board meetings.
