Gammelrøj Herregård
Østerskovvej 15, Kolding
About venue
Gammelrøj, a quaint manor house with roots tracing back to the 1600s, holds a unique historical charm. In the 1800s, significant portions of the Gammelrøj we see today were constructed using materials salvaged from the remnants of Koldinghus Castle, which had tragically burned down in 1808.
Recent years have witnessed extensive renovations of this manor house, carried out with profound reverence for its rich history. Remarkably, the floors echo those found in the knights' hall at Koldinghus Castle, and when combined with the antique armor, ancient weaponry, and exposed beams, they transport you back to the era when the original manor house graced this very site.
Gammelrøj Manor boasts a collection of cozy and idyllic event rooms in varying sizes, including a spacious party pavilion capable of accommodating up to 275 guests. All these spaces are impeccably suited for both grand and intimate celebrations, as well as meetings and conferences.
For your daytime meetings, consider the scenic and idyllic backdrop of Gammelrøj Manor's surroundings.
Conveniently located near Kolding city and the motorway, Gammelrøj Manor retains an aura of seclusion, enveloped by woodlands and fields. It offers a tranquil and picturesque setting, perfect for productive meetings and conferences.
