Gjessoe Forsamlinghus

Welcome to Denmark's oldest community center and possibly the most beautiful in Gjessø, southwest of Silkeborg. The community hall has been lovingly restored and is as beautiful as it was 140 years ago.
The kitchen, wardrobe and toilets, which were extended from 1995, have maintained the same old architectural style.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of the residents of Gjessø and the surrounding area over the years, the town now has a well-known community center worth fighting for and protecting for future generations.

These settings are perfect for parties of up to 100 people, with live music, large car park links to the community center and city buses at the door.
Outdoor area with tables and benches, away from the busy road and closest to the forest.

 The community center has a small hall for about 20 people and a large hall for about 100 people. These two rooms are partly one large room and can be separated by curtains.
